This document contains the full text of the consent you give when you follow an invitation to an experimental session of the "Neural Authorization" feature. It supplements the privacy policy and the general consent for EEG measurements.
1. What is this about?
"Neural Authorization" is an experimental research and development feature. Several EEG measurements are combined into a statistical profile of your brain responses (a template of derived features). The goal of the experiment is to test whether a later measurement can be attributed to the same person. The feature makes no decisions with legal effect and does not control access to real systems — it is a laboratory environment.
2. Which data, for what purpose?
We process the raw EEG data of your sessions, timing and synchronisation markers and features derived from them. Because these features are used to recognise a person, they are biometric data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR. The legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).
- The template ("Neural Credential") contains no raw data, only statistical features; it is versioned and revocable.
- Your measurements from this experiment do not enter the platform's comparison database (norms) — the data paths are separated.
- The organiser of the box who invited you sees your sessions and the results of verification attempts inside their box.
3. Voluntariness and withdrawal
Participation is voluntary. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — an e-mail to the address below is enough. After withdrawal, your raw data from this experiment are deleted and templates built from them are revoked. The lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
